AFFORDABLE ART FAIR NYC ANNOUNCES FALL 2016 EXHIBITORS
Affordable Art Fair New York City Unveils the Fall Edition’s Participating Galleries (New York, NY) – Affordable Art Fair NYC announces its return to the Metropolitan Pavilion, from September 28-October 2, with 74 local, national and international galleries exhibiting original works from more than 500 artists. Established in 1999, the bi-annual art fair celebrates its 22nd edition in the Big Apple, offering an eclectic collection of contemporary art ranging from $100 to
$10,000, with more than half of the works priced under $5,000. Joining the strong roster of returning exhibitors – Manifold Editions (London, UK), La Lanta Fine Art (Bangkok, Thailand) and Emmanuel Fremin Gallery (New York, NY) – comes newcomers such as ARTHUB (Brooklyn, NY), CURIOOS (New York, NY) and GAMA Gallery (Istanbul, Turkey) that bring an ambitious energy and perspective to Chelsea’s Metropolitan Pavilion. “Affordable Art Fair NYC is about accessibility and variety, all nestled into one inspiring and engaging setting,” says Cristina Salmastrelli, Director of Affordable Art Fair NYC. “That’s why our exhibiting galleries are so important to us. We want our visitors – both new and returning – to experience a fresh fair so that when they walk away, everyone has discovered something new about the contemporary art market.”

Director Cristina Salmastrelli’s Personal Shopping Experience (also a year-round initiative) is once again ready to manage some matchmaking in this contemporary art world, while the Young Talent exhibition will be curated by The Laundromat Project (Harlem, NY) and highlight artist Dennis RedMoon Darkeem, a born and raised New Yorker. Finally, this fall, Affordable Art Fair NYC is introducing the Collector’s Club, an exclusive association focusing on the fair’s purchasing clientele. Fair collectors will enjoy an on-site lounge to relax in while their newly purchased artwork is being complimentarily wrapped. Additionally, Collector’s Club patrons will receive access to private events produced by Affordable Art Fair NYC year-round.
